Bienvenidos a Miami!

Miami Beach
What would Miami be without it's beaches? Whether you are a tourist or a Miami local, take time to soak in the sun on the white sands of Miami's pieces of paradise. If you have time for only one beach-visit, then it's time to get picky! A satisfying playa experience will depend on what you are looking for. For instance, the famous Miami South Beach is a great place to mingle with locals and tourists alike but if you want a place where you can take a jog, then Central Miami Beach would be the location for you. The North Beach has a shady area with grass and South Pointe Park has free parking (not exclusively). Whichever beach you go to....enjoy the Miami sun!

Art Deco Historic District
1001 Ocean Dr, Art Deco Welcome Center, Miami Beach, FL 33139 · 305-672-2014
The Art Deco Historic District represents a time period when the money ran freely in the early 20th century (at least the Miami area) and beneficiaries wanted to try new and somewhat futuristic models of home and commercial architecture. The results were above all, very colorful. They were also generally geometric and often portrayed smooth, rounded exteriors--and as one online source1 describes--"ziggurat (stepped) rooflines." The Art Deco Historic District is an experience for architecture lovers and novices alike; a truly memorable cultural experience.
